Announcing for school year 2011 – 2012:
Full Day Kindergarten at The Peppermint Tree
We are coordinating our curriculum with the Toms River School System, so children will learn what is required to prepare for First Grade.  In addition, the children will be given more time to learn the concepts more deeply and to explore them with hands on learning to assure full understanding, not just memorization.  Since we will have the full school day, the children will not be rushed and we will be able to integrate many different teaching strategies to reach all learners.  The children will also have ample time to play and socialize, which is an important part of their development.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our children!

Please watch for more information.  We will be having an early registration for the full day Kindergarten due to the demand for this class.  More details to follow.  See our web page on this new program by clicking here:  http://www.pepperminttree.com/full-day-kindergarten/

We’ve got lots of exciting new offerings at The Peppermint Tree.  Hope you’ll join us!

Sincerely,
Valerie Frost-Lewis  (“Miss Val”)
Director
